Our goal

We believe in the art of photography as effective tool for youth empowerment, increasing self-esteem, building confidence and hope. Our wish is to show the uniqueness of the life in Langa township, located in Cape Town, South Africa, through the eyes of kids and teens from Langa, in favor the world without exclusion and mutual respect for diversity.

Frida Vesterberg, 29 years old, from Sweden, lives in South Africa. Founder and Manager of Project Playgound.

Anele Ngoko, Photography Teacher from 2012.

Siseko Sesh Mkita, 26 years old, from South Africa. Photography Teacher in 2011. Member of Iliso Labantu group.
